Warehouse & Event Fabrication Assistant (with Project Support)

Burbank, CA
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm
We are an event design and fabrication studio producing custom environments, builds, and event assets on tight timelines. We’re hiring a Warehouse & Event Fabrication Assistant to support day-to-day warehouse operations and provide hands‑on project support to our production team.
This role is ideal for someone who is equally comfortable working with their hands and communicating clearly and professionally. You’ll be part of a collaborative, creative team—and we’re looking for someone who shows up energized, proactive, and ready to contribute.
What We’re Looking For
Experience in warehouse, production, events, scenic/fabrication, or related environments
Strong English communication skills—written and verbal (clear emails, notes, and team updates)
Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and dependable under deadlines
Comfortable learning new tools, processes, and fabrication techniques
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet throughout the day
Solid computer skills: Google Sheets, email, and basic project tools
Bachelor’s degree (4‑year college diploma) is a plus (not required)
Forklift experience is a plus (not required)
Warehouse Operations
Pull, pack, palletize, and stage event assets for shipping and deployment
Receive, unload, label, and organize materials and fabricated components
Maintain accurate inventory organization, cleanliness, and safe warehouse layout
Load/unload trucks and operate pallet jacks and standard material‑handling equipment
Support fabrication with assembly, sanding, painting, prepping, and general shop tasks
Contribute to continuous improvement of warehouse flow, labeling, and staging systems
Woodworking experience is a plus
Project Support & Coordination
Assist with tracking materials, deadlines, and production progress across active builds
Prepare job packets, labels, staging areas, and checklists for upcoming projects
Coordinate with team leads to confirm correct assets are pulled and project‑ready
Update project boards and spreadsheets (Google Sheets and/or project tools; training provided)
Support event returns: inspect, restock, reset, and document missing/damaged items
