A respected and growing general contractor in the Raleigh area is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team. Position Overview The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all phases of construction projects, from preconstruction planning through project completion
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams
Oversee subcontractor performance, contracts, change orders, and payments
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company procedures
Lead project meetings and provide clear, consistent communication to all stakeholders
Identify and mitigate project risks while driving solutions
Qualifications
2+ years of experience as a Project Manager with a general contractor
Strong background in commercial construction (ground-up, renovations and interiors)
Proven ability to manage multiple trades and project stakeholders
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with construction management software and scheduling tools
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
