Position Overview
Under the supervision of Clinical Regional Managers, the Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) provides speech and language services to clients in home and community settings, conducts evaluations, and offers caregiver training. The SLP also supervises assistants, students, and staff. Key Responsibilities
Assess communication skills (articulation, fluency, voice, language) to diagnose disorders and develop treatment recommendations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (OTs, PTs, Child Development Specialists). Provide treatment for communication skills in infants/toddlers with developmental or physical disabilities. Supervise CFs, SLPAs, and CDS staff, ensuring compliance with state and ASHA standards. Communicate client progress to staff and caregivers and maintain confidentiality. Develop and instruct alternative communication strategies for clients and families. Administrative Duties
Submit timely assessment and progress reports. Mentor staff, manage scheduling, and maintain data in the management platform. Conduct parent meetings on relevant topics. Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech‑Language Pathology and California licensure. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA. 2+ years in pediatric speech therapy and experience with supervision. Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills. Ability to work with diverse families and reliable transportation. Working Conditions
Position requires travel to client locations and working in both office and home environments.
