CBI serves individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness. Job Summary

A Lead Navigator is an individual who is in recovery from AOD use and/or GMH for at least one year and has a minimum of 90 days experience as a Navigator or Peer Support Specialist. The Lead Navigator’s primary role is to work with individuals who are homeless, providing outreach, engagement, case management, and wrap‑around supportive services to assist them in ending homelessness. The Lead Navigator serves as the bridge for the patient, coordinating and monitoring RBHA and non‑RBHA community‑based services, and facilitating delivery of these services. The Lead Navigator also mentors the Navigator II, guiding onboarding and program fulfillment. Key Responsibilities

Conduct outreach and engage individuals with high acuity and vulnerability. Coordinate case management and ongoing wrap‑around services. Act as a nexus, coordinating care with community providers and stakeholders. Mentor and onboard Navigator II staff. Master processes in coordinated entry, housing referral, leasing, wrap‑around services, and discharge. Skills & Requirements

High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or higher in a behavioral health field preferred but not required. Recovery from AOD use and/or GMH for at least one year. 1–3 years of full‑time healthcare experience with exposure to behavioral and medical crisis situations preferred but not required. Current Arizona driver’s license. Clear 39‑month motor vehicle record. Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) certification per A.A.C. R9‑10‑101.33 and CBI policies. Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card.
