Pay Range : $77,667.20/yr - $85,433.92/yr (actual pay based on skills and experience; discuss with recruiter).

Location : 10750 Ulmerton Road, Largo, FL 33778.

Work Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

What Will You Do

Coordinate Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Improvement (QI) department‑wide activities and establish automatic triggers for specific actions.

Maintain oversight of the Quality Assurance Review (QAR) process for EMS/Fire Administration, Regional 911, Billing & Financial Services, and Support Services divisions.

Prepare written and oral presentations about QA/QI programs for leadership and employee groups.

Review department policies regularly and enforce consistent standards.

Meet regularly with division QA Associates, set standards for timely incident and system reviews, and identify performance improvement opportunities.

Gather QA data from all divisions for monthly performance reporting, analysis, and recommendations.

Supervise subordinate employees and track training and certification of all SES personnel.

Mentor personnel, contractors, stakeholders, and the public regarding QA/QI best practices.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

What Do You Need Experience : First responder EMS system or health care system experience.

Degree : Business, Public Administration, Health Care Administration, or related field.

At least 8 years of the required experience; or

Associate degree with 6 years of experience; or

Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of experience; or

Master’s degree with 2 years of experience; or

PhD with some relevant experience.

Work a variety of schedules, including mandatory periods in special, emergency, or disaster situations.

Highly Desirable

Health Care system experience.

Public works operations and maintenance, including work‑management systems and inventories.

Operations equipment and its use.

Relevant methods and techniques for the area of responsibility.

Public speaking and public relations; effective oral and written communication with diverse audiences.

Operational management of day‑to‑day programs and communications with public and private organizations.

Work planning, supervision, and evaluation of professional and support personnel; effective relationships with county, state, federal officials, contractors, staff, volunteers, and the public.

Agricultural: partnership with agencies and organizations for public works project delivery.

Independent complex task execution and handling non‑routine matters.

Appropriate policy and rule enforcement with tact and courtesy.

Computer system operation for information entry, retrieval, monitoring, and reporting.

Physical/Mental Demands The work is predominantly sedentary with occasional exertion of up to 10 pounds.

Visual: Adequate to operate office equipment and read/write reports.

Hearing: Adequate for in‑person and telephone conversations and transcription device listening.

Speaking: Adequate for effective communication in person and by telephone.

Mental Acuity: Rational decision‑making using logic and deduction.

Speech: Clear expression of detailed or important instructions.

Repetitive Motion: Significant wrist, hand, or finger movements.
