Electrex Inc. is seeking a Master Production Scheduler to own the development, execution, and ongoing optimization of the Master Production Schedule (MPS) supporting our U.S. and Mexico operations. This role manages production scheduling end‑to‑end — from demand translation and capacity alignment through material availability, production sequencing, warehouse coordination, and final shipment.
You’ll oversee schedule integration across three production sites and three warehouse/distribution locations across the U.S. and Mexico, ensuring seamless handoffs between planning, procurement, production, logistics, and customer delivery. Success in this role means products are built and delivered on time, with clarity and alignment across all teams involved.
Onsite Work Location: Wichita, Kansas
Core Responsibilities
Create, maintain, and optimize the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to meet customer demand and internal performance goals.
Translate demand forecasts, customer orders, and program launches into weekly and daily production schedules.
Balance demand with supply, capacity, labor, and material availability.
Perform Rough‑Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) to identify and resolve capacity constraints.
Analyze work center load and recommend adjustments to sequencing and priorities.
Collaborate with Materials, Engineering, and Production to resolve shortages, quality holds, and schedule disruptions.
Maintain accurate MRP parameters and ensure BOMs and routers support the schedule.
Conduct schedule reviews with stakeholders and communicate changes clearly and proactively.
Monitor and report on key KPIs including schedule adherence, capacity utilization, and on‑time delivery.
Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance throughput, reduce waste, and strengthen planning accuracy.

Experience & Skills Required
5+ years in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
Direct experience owning or supporting a Master Production Schedule.
Strong knowledge of MRP/MPS processes, BOMs, routings, and work centers.
Experience performing capacity planning and constraint analysis.
Proficiency with ERP systems (Syteline/Inforum preferred, but similar systems accepted).
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, modeling, analysis).
Ability to communicate clearly with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Leadership.
Preferred Experience
Experience in high‑mix, low‑to‑medium volume manufacturing.
Familiarity with Lean, TOC, or continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience in wire harness, electronics, or similar technical production environments.
Prior involvement in S&OP or forecast integration processes.
