We’re looking for a passionate
Culinary Supervisor
to join the world‑class team at Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort & Villas. In this role you will be the heartbeat of the kitchen—leading a talented crew to create amazing meals that our guests will love. Responsibility
Lead the hourly cooks and help train the department. Take charge of the kitchen and manage daily operations when the Sous Chef is away. Ensure every plate meets Hyatt’s high standards and is served on time. Help monitor payroll and costs to keep the kitchen running efficiently. Qualifications
A degree or certificate from a culinary school is preferred. Few years of experience working in a professional kitchen, ideally within a hotel or resort. Previous experience as a Lead Cook or a similar supervisory role. Basic understanding of food costs, inventory, and labor and how they affect the kitchen’s budget. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Basic computer skills for scheduling, emails, and logging hours. Valid food handler’s card or manager’s food safety certification. Compensation
Hourly pay rate: $25.00 - $26.40 with the opportunity to earn additional income through tips.
