Supervisor Meter Services | Columbus, OH (DOT) Operator Meter Services Supervisor at Bermex. Full‑time, regular. Reports to Operations or Project Manager. Interacts with customers, leads initiatives, requires metering knowledge, time management, and interpersonal communication.

What You’ll Do

Identify, investigate, and resolve meter reading issues, ensuring deadlines.

Partner with customers, managers, utilities and staff to maintain customer satisfaction through regular communication.

Collaborate with management to identify inefficiencies and cost‑saving opportunities.

Train and mentor staff, provide guidance and performance feedback.

Recommend personnel actions (hiring, evaluation, rewards, disciplinary actions).

Implement measures to improve motivation, equipment performance, work methods, and customer services.

Request necessary personnel, supplies, equipment or repair services.

Drive vehicles equipment to complete assignments or assist workers.

Interpret transportation, safety and company regulations for workers.

Prepare reports on work activities and productivity.

Resolve worker problems or assist in problem resolution.

Schedule and perform preventive maintenance of vehicles and equipment.

Assist with meter reading tasks and extensive walking and standing.

Work outside in various weather conditions and handle physical force.

Handle customer inquiries and provide general information about meter services.

Use telephone, tablet, and computer for communication.

About You Must Haves:

High school diploma or GED.

Minimum 21 years old.

At least 2 years experience in project management or a supervisory role.

Upon hire, complete and pass all Pipeline Operator Qualification training.

Nice to Have:

Bachelor’s degree.

3 years experience in smart metering supervision or related field.

1 year continuous work with same employer.

6+ months working outdoors.
