254671**Scope:*** We are looking for a skilled **Linux Systems Engineer** to administer, maintain, and enhance our Linux-based infrastructure. The role involves managing various Linux distributions, ensuring system stability, automating operational tasks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business-critical applications.**What you’ll do:*** Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE).* Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings.* Administer storage, LVM, and file systems (ext4, xfs, etc.).* Perform OS patching, upgrades, and kernel tuning.* Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.* Maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures.* Implement OS hardening best practices.* Apply security patches and monitor for vulnerabilities.* Develop and maintain scripts in Bash, Python, or Ansible for automation.* Support infrastructure-as-code deployments.* Work with application, database, and DevOps teams for Linux-based deployments.* Provide on-call support for critical issues.**What we are looking for:*** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.* 3 to 8 years of Linux server administration in enterprise environments.* Strong skills in RHEL/CentOS administration, including systemd, networking, and storage.* Proficiency in Bash scripting and familiarity with Python or Ansible.* Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, etc.).* Understanding of ITIL processes.* Support (24 x 7 support) – shift rotation, work weekends and evenings* Team player, fast learner, work in a fasted paced environment and share knowledge.**Our Values**All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status. #J-18808-Ljbffr
