About the Role We are looking for our next District Shift Leader. This position is part of a targeted General Manager development plan that will prepare you to take ownership of a bakery as a General Manager when a vacancy arises.
What a Day Looks Like
Perform management duties at a home location and support other bakeries in the market as needed.
Travel to learn from additional leaders and gain further independence.
Lead the bakery in the absence of its General Manager.
Open the store at 3 am for bake‑and‑serve and handle opening duties.
Coach, train, and support team members across various roles to ensure high‑quality food and beverage for guests.
Maintain a safe, clean store environment.
Participate in training on inventory tracking, vendor orders, cash management, P&L analysis, food‑cost and labor targets, scheduling, and recruiting quality team members.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience preferred.
Must be able to work varied hours/days, including early hours and weekends (starting as early as 3 am).
Must have a current, valid driver’s license and successfully pass a background check.
Must complete Bagel Brands ServSafe Certification program by the end of the GM development plan, unless you already possess a valid certification.
Minimum age 18.
Tip eligibility subject to state regulations.
Additional benefits eligibility is subject to position guidelines at time of hire.
Physical Requirements Sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently during working hours. These physical requirements may be performed with or without reasonable accommodations.
