Project Manager – Construction
Full‑time position in a high‑growth, full‑service construction firm.
Base Pay Range $110,000 – $135,000 per year
Key Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of project management, providing direction to on‑site superintendents and construction managers.
Establish project goals, timelines, and policies in collaboration with stakeholders.
Act as the main liaison with clients, owners, engineers, and subcontractors.
Monitor financials, construction progress, and overall performance to ensure success.
Perform estimating & bidding, analyze site conditions, interpret project specifications, identify subcontractors, develop preliminary schedules.
Manage pre‑construction tasks: review contracts, coordinate payroll, submit submittals, schedule subcontractors, prepare binders.
Execute construction: direct crews, manage recruitment & discipline, ensure EEO compliance, facilitate communication, approve invoices, track costs, submit change orders.
Post‑construction: submit substantial completion requests, conduct job cost audits, lead post‑project analysis and closeouts.
Qualifications
Preferred degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Construction Management; equivalent experience accepted.
4+ years of project management experience coordinating with owners, engineers, agency personnel, employees, vendors, and the public.
Proficiency with construction‑related software and general computer tools.
Valid driver’s license.
Self‑starter able to work independently and manage complex projects with minimal supervision.
