Parts Coordinator – Gerber Collision & Glass Location:

Overview Gerber Collision & Glass is one of the largest collision repair companies in North America, with over 1,000 locations and more than 10,000 team members. As a Parts Coordinator, you will ensure the timely and accurate acquisition, storage, and distribution of parts to support our customer‑centric repair operations. Your role is critical in delivering a WOW (Wow Operating Way) experience for every customer.

Key Job Responsibilities

Execute the WOW plan consistently across all parts operations.

Communicate customer requests and needs to team members.

Order, receive, and verify parts against repair orders for quality, correctness, and quantity.

Coordinate timely parts distribution to the shop according to the production schedule.

Enter parts invoices into the Management Information System (MIS).

Label and track parts by repair order number; store with the vehicle or scheduled repairs.

Notify team members of parts price changes (Parts Price Increases – PPI).

Order supplemental parts, monitor vendor performance, and reconcile the parts vendor invoice history report.

Post and file vendor invoices and credit memos promptly, ensuring correct negotiated discounts to maintain margins.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent.

1–3+ years of experience working with automotive parts (auto body parts is a bonus).

Prior customer service experience (2‑3 years) and at least 2–3 years of CCC1 experience.

Registered with I‑Car (working toward Gold Class certification).

Required Skills and Abilities

Effective verbal and written communication.

Strong attention to detail and high accuracy.

Ability to manage a fast‑paced environment and multitask under pressure.

Knowledge of vehicle repair practices.

Proficiency with MIS tools (Summit, Repair Centre) and vehicle data systems (Mitchell, Audatex).

Parts sourcing experience with Car‑Part, Progi, APU, LKQ B2B.

Solid problem‑solving abilities and computer proficiency.

Organizational skills and ability to collaborate toward common goals.

Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

Frequently required to bend, crouch, reach, and handle tools.

Lift in excess of 50 lbs.
