Job Summary
The Assistant Director of Housing Operations and Guest Services will lead hiring, training and supervision of front‑desk student assistants, overseeing 75+ student assistants and managing front‑desk operations. The position also coordinates residence‑hall use for summer camp and conference operations, scheduling and billing of groups in conjunction with the Division of Continuing Education and Special Events. Responsibilities
Oversee front‑desk operations, ensuring staff provide customer‑service‑driven response, correspondence, and interactions with parents and students. Support the Associate Director of Housing Facilities in daily operations affiliated with housing facility management, building walks, key management, and work‑order follow‑up. Lead the mid‑semester health and safety room inspection process in collaboration with Resident Education, Residence Life and Facilities Services. Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate approximately 2 graduate assistants, 75 desk assistants and 15+ conference assistants. Coordinate Admissions‑based recruitment events, daily tours and coordinate with Residence Hall staff to locate tour rooms. Coordinate summer camp and conference operations, including scheduling of groups, invoicing housing‑affiliated charges and providing on‑call support to triage issues. Use assessment data to inform planning and decision‑making and assist in the development of University Housing policies and procedures. Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements : Bachelor's Degree Required Experience : Three (3) or more years of related work experience Preferred Qualifications
Post‑Master's coursework Five (5) or more years of work‑related experience Experience in residential operations Proposed Salary
$55,126 - $70,307 (exempt position, paid monthly) Required Documents to Attach
