AAS degree in Business, Office Technology or closely related field
At least two (2) years experience related to administrative support field including data entry, computer training and general office support
Must have strong computer/technical skills
Must have excellent communication skills, project management and problem-solving abilities
Bilingual Language abilities a plus (English/Spanish)
Responsibilities/Duties
This position requires an individual who is detail-oriented and resourceful professional providing high-level, strategic support directly to LCHS Executive-level staff. Managing complex projects, confidential data, and acts as point person for the Executive/ Administrative/Finance team; handling sensitive business information with discretion; responsible for providing support, taking minutes for the agency's Board of Directors, Parent Policy Council and Functional Committees.
Conditions of Employment
Luzerne County Head Start, Inc. requires staff to possess current, valid Background Clearances (3) per state/federal regulations. Proof of Degree/Certification and Experience Required to meet the Qualifications for position.
Starting Rate of Pay: $18.44/hr (May be higher for internal staff/years of service)
Additional compensation/Bilingual Adjustment at 5% for English/Spanish language abilities
