Description Position Summary:

support and develop the network infrastructure used by Wyckoff Hospital. Day to day troubleshooting of the Hospital network related issues. Work closely with IT desktop support, system support and ancillary department maximize business communication.

Job Duties

Installing and configuring network equipment

Operational knowledge of Cisco IOS and Cat OS; operational knowledge of quality of service and voice/video over IP, VPN technologies.

Creating firewalls and updating virus protection software and data security systems to keep data and communications protected.

Familiarity with enterprise network management software.

Monitoring computer systems to improve network performance for all systems.

Troubleshooting, resolving, and communicating networking issues to other employees and management.

Maintaining current knowledge and understanding of security and networking best practices to offer the best solutions and protection to company systems.

Maintaining computer networks including mainframes, VPNs, routers and other physical hardware.

Qualifications Preferred education and certifications are welcomed.

Education High School or better. Technical/other training or better.
