Manages budgets and resources efficiently to meet financial and operational goals. Conducts regular staff meetings to communicate updates, address concerns and provide guidance. Assists in developing, implementing, and evaluating ongoing service programs to ensure quality nursing and patient care. Fosters a culture of psychological safety, where the team members feel supported, valued, empowered to speak up, share concerns, and contribute meaningfully. Promotes evidence-based practice, ensuring quality outcomes, and fostering a culture of safety, compassion, and continuous learning. Provides ongoing education and training to nursing staff to maintain high competency levels. Prepares the unit for audits and surveys, by monitoring and maintaining unit compliance with regulatory standards, accrediting, hospital policies while coordinating staff education to maintain competencies and preparedness. Manages nursing staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and optimal patient care. Manages assigned direct reports including recruitment, hiring, coaching, disciplinary actions, development, education, competencies, performance evaluations, and payroll functions Demonstrates critical thinking skills, creativity, and resource management to achieve quality performance and positive employee relations.

Associate's of Nursing (Required)

Bachelor's of Nursing

Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement

Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement

Certified RN Infusion (CRNI) - EV Accredited Issuing Body

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - EV Accredited Issuing Body

NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) - EV Accredited Issuing Body

Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement

Registered Nurse (RN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body

Vascular Access Board Certified (VA-BC) - EV Accredited Issuing Body

Pay Range: $33.65 - $62.59
