Provides administrative support to university researchers including the planning, organizing and submission of research grants and other associated activities. Providing expert secretarial support, performs a wide variety of office tasks requiring a thorough knowledge of policies, procedures and systems. Position is required to handle matters of a moderately complex nature to conserve supervisor’s time. Initial application review will begin on the date provided in the field above. Ability to handle multiple and complex tasks simultaneously. Ability to gain and retain new technical office skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Knowledge of scientific terminology. Able to work in demanding and stressful situations with complete accuracy, confidentiality, and dependability to meet deadlines on a regular basis. Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
