An insurance agency that has been in business for 50 years. We specialize in commercial insurance but also serve a large number of personal lines clients. Responsibilities
Quote and sell Auto and home insurance once licensed to do so.
Provide service to policyholders via telephone calls, emails or in person.
Perform various clerical duties such as filing, faxing, entering data, making deposits, answering phones, copying, and other duties as assigned.
Marketing via online, email, mail, and text. NO COLD CALLING EVER!
Perform other office/insurance sales tasks as requested, including any additional responsibilities of the Agency manager when out of the office.
Qualifications
Insurance experience preferred but not required to start; however, you must obtain an Insurance Property & Casualty license within 60 days of the start date. (We will provide training material and cover the testing expense the first time only)
Must be able to pass a full background check and possible drug screening.
Must have MS Excel and other MS Office experience.
Typing 40+ wpm
MUST BE A SELF-STARTER
Must have computer knowledge and be able to navigate the internet
Problem-solving skills and resourcefulness.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Basic office skills such as filing, faxing, phones, and so on.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
