Hazeltine National Golf Club is seeking a Seasonal Assistant Golf Professional to join our team and contribute to delivering an exceptional experience for our membership and guests. This position is ideal for an aspiring golf professional who is eager to learn, grow, and be an active part of a world‑class golf operation rooted in tradition, excellence, and service.
As a Seasonal Assistant Golf Professional, you will work closely with the Head Golf Professional and golf team to support daily operations while developing the skills necessary for a successful career in the golf industry, while gaining exposure to exciting club enhancements including our new Villas, our new 10‑hole short course – Aerie, putting course, 8,800 square foot 7‑bay Golf Performance Center, and preparations for hosting the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship in June.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with day‑to‑day golf operations including Golf Shop, tournaments, member services, and outside operations
Deliver warm, professional, and personalized service to members and guests
Support tournament operations, leagues, and major club events
Assist with individual and group instruction, junior golf, and clinics
Collaborate with team members across departments to execute events and enhance the overall club experience
Stay informed on golf technology, equipment, and industry trends
Qualifications
PGA Class A Professional or PGA Associate / PGM Student actively working toward Class A membership
Strong passion for the game of golf and the golf industry
Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Professional appearance and a service‑oriented mindset
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
