Overview

Tri County Country Club is seeking a PGA Golf Professional to lead the day-to-day golf operation and deliver an exceptional member and guest experience. This role is responsible for golf programming, instruction, tournaments/events, merchandising, staff leadership, customer service, and supporting overall club operations. Experience Required

PGA Membership in good standing (or PGA Associate actively enrolled in the PGA PGM Program, if acceptable preferred but not required) Prior experience managing golf operations, tournaments, and instruction preferred Strong customer service, leadership, communication, and organizational skills Working knowledge of the Rules of Golf and tournament administration Proficiency with golf management/tee sheet and POS systems (or willingness to learn) Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and peak season hours Essential Responsibilities

Member & Guest Experience

Provide a welcoming, service-forward atmosphere in the golf shop and on the course Maintain professional standards for pace of play, etiquette, and club policies Serve as a visible presence with strong member engagement and communication Instruction & Player Development

Provide private and group lessons for adults and juniors Develop and grow junior golf programs, clinics, camps, and leagues Offer club fittings and equipment recommendations when applicable Tournaments, Leagues & Events

Plan, promote, and execute club tournaments, leagues, and special golf events Manage event registration, scoring, rules applications, and results/awards Coordinate with committees and club leadership to build a strong events calendar Golf Shop & Merchandising

Oversee daily golf shop operations, merchandising, and inventory controls Create attractive retail displays and recommend product mix for members Track sales, manage vendor relationships, and support budget goals Golf Shop ownership is negotiable Operations & Course Support

Coordinate tee sheet management, starter/ranger operations, and outside services Work closely with the Superintendent regarding course setup, pin placements, and member communications Support safety procedures and ensure compliance with applicable policies and standards Staff Leadership

Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise golf shop and outside services staff Set performance expectations and provide coaching to ensure consistent service Administrative & Reporting

Maintain accurate records for lessons, events, sales, and player communications Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and operational planning as needed Support marketing efforts (email, social media, signage) to promote golf programs and events Benefits

Total anticipated annual compensation $85,000-$95,000 Annual Salaryof $62,500-$65,000 Two weeks paid vacation Paid PGA dues
