Class A Driver
The Macomb Group, a recognized leading distributor in the Midwest for Pipe, Valve, and Fittings, is looking for a full-time Class A driver at our Lawrenceville, GA location.
Responsibilities
Local deliveries
Transport materials to and from specified destinations
Prepare receipts for load pickup
Maintain truck logs and proof of delivery
Loading and unloading truck materials when needed
Possible warehouse duties after runs are completed
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
2 years of flatbed experience
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Class A license
DOT certification
Ability to walk, sit, stand, climb, kneel, or crawl occasionally
Ability to frequently lift or move up to 25 lbs
Ability to strap and load materials onto truck bed
Forklift experience is a plus
Knowledge of PVF is a plus
Work Setting Lawrenceville, GA; Monday - Friday, day shift; OT on some Saturdays, 8 AM - 12 PM; No nights, holidays, or Sundays.
