Job Description – Class B Driver Title Class B Driver
Summary The Macomb Group, a recognized leading distributor in the Midwest for Pipe, Valve, and Fittings. We are looking for a full‑time class B driver at our Indianapolis, Indiana location. The Macomb Group has differentiated itself from competitors by continually expanding our operations to provide unbeatable specialty services, a huge inventory, energy‑efficient solutions, and exceptional customer service. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, self‑driven individual to join our growing team.
Responsibilities Local deliveries Transport materials to and from specified destinations Prepares receipts for load pickup Maintenance of truck logs and proof of delivery Loading and unloading truck materials when needed Possible warehouse duties after runs are completed
Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Class B License Able to drive manual DOT Certification Be able to walk, sit, stand, climb, kneel, or crawl occasionally Be able to frequently lift or move up to 25lbs Be able to strap and load materials onto truck bed Knowledge of PVF is a plus
Work Setting Indianapolis, Indiana
Monday - Friday, day shift
OT on some Saturdays, 8 AM - 12 PM
No nights, holidays, or Sundays
