Skid Production Technician
The Skid Production technician will assemble the company’s products, quality check them, and pack them according to specifications.
Duties/Responsibilities
Reads blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then builds the company’s products to those specifications.
Uses various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
Maintains logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine/equipment maintenance, and product inconsistencies.
Checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolves any identified problems and alerts supervisor.
Maintains production logs, inventories, documentation, and reports, including those outlining procedures, batch records, inventory, productivity, changeover, and progress.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Accountable for skidded system QC testing, startup, and warranty service.
Overnight travel to job sites for troubleshooting, problem-solving, and servicing. Target frequency is 25%.
Requirements
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as necessary to complete logs or records.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics, and basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.
Detail-oriented and consistent.
Works well as a productive member of a team.
Able to work independently while on customers’ jobsites.
Education And Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Two (2) years of related experience
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks.
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at a time.
Must have manual dexterity to assemble products or machines as directed.
Must have excellent hand-eye coordination and the ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.
Must wear required PPE.
