5+ years of construction scheduling experience, with a Heavy Highway General Contractor Bachelor’s degree or higher in civil engineering is preferred (equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree). Strong knowledge of DOT standards, Proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling software and MS Excel. Create, monitor, and maintain multiple project schedules using Primavera P6 scheduling software. Assist the team in defining project goals, objectives, and success factors. Work closely with project managers, construction engineers, and contractors to provide detailed planning and scheduling support. Collaborate with estimating departments and project teams during project turnover to modify schedules based on bid evaluations. Analyze schedule updates against the established baseline to assess impacts on resources, constructability, workflow, and cash flow. Evaluate schedule logic, durations, resource impacts, and workflow efficiency. Make recommendations to reduce schedule risks and assess the impacts of design or construction changes on project timelines. Prepare and present schedule updates and status reports to project teams. Report on schedule progress, highlighting potential risks, and develop recovery plans in the event of delays. Prepare summary-level reports such as 4-week look-ahead schedules, cash flow analysis, resource histograms, and float trend analyses.
