Job Description These openings are for the Nashville, Madison, Hendersonville, and Franklin, TN locations. This is your chance to introduce customers to the world’s most robust network while delivering best-in-class service. You’ll be the key to elevating the customer experience by installing and activating cutting‑edge broadband, Wi‑Fi, and voice technology, and you’ll enjoy helping others connect to what matters most every day.

As an Installation Technician, you’ll work independently at customers' homes and businesses as a trusted expert. You’ll install high‑speed broadband, Wi‑Fi, and voice services—whether that means putting in a new line, climbing a ladder, or simply plugging in and activating a Wi‑Fi network. Every day is different and rewarding.

Our Installation Technicians earn between $17.26 and $31.64 an hour, with an average starting salary of $50,856 per year. In addition, AT&T offers many other rewards for those who join our team.

Requirements

Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Possess a valid state driver’s license.

Lift and move up to 60 lbs (some ladders weigh 50–60 lbs).

Weigh less than 325 lbs to ensure ladder safety.

Sometimes work in small spaces or aloft (up to 28 ft.).

Be available for overtime, emergency call‑outs, and holiday work.

Identify wire and cable colors.

Qualify on pre‑employment assessment.
