What You’ll Be Doing

Lead leasing consultants and apply creative sales strategies to motivate the team and reach occupancy goals.

Maintain resident ledgers, posting rent payments, issuing charges, concessions and final account statements.

Initiate lease violations, late rent notices, and evictions as required.

Assist the Property Manager with accounting month‑end tasks.

Guide the leasing process from tour to move‑in, including closing the sale, completing lease documents and inspecting apartments to ensure a smooth move‑in experience.

Explain property features to prospective residents and align them with their needs.

Support occupancy and retention goals by following up with potential and current residents.

Build relationships with residents through courteous, timely responses to needs and concerns.

Respond to complaints, questions and requests promptly, taking appropriate action to resolve service issues.

Collaborate with teammates to plan and organize resident events.

Train and develop teammates, providing on‑the‑job training to leasing consultants and scheduling company training.

Inspect and prepare the entire property—including office, models, vacancy, curb appeal and amenities—for cleanliness, and maintain the work area.

Manage in‑house bad‑debt collections.

Assist with client/owner relations by meeting with owners, conducting community tours, providing updates on performance, and responding to owner requests.

Process resident move‑outs, examining lease terms, notice requirements, applying deposit and lease cancellation fees, and disposing areas according to procedures and legal requirements.

What You Must Have

At least one year of leasing experience in residential property management.

Availability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.

A cheerful attitude focused on customer service.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Tech savvy – ability to learn and operate property management applications.

Strength in sales, leasing, closing, delinquency management, and renewal management.

What’s Nice To Have

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Bilingual in English and Spanish.
