What you’ll do
Operate and maintain the 2D laser equipment.
Material handling duties related to loading and unloading sheet metal.
Shear/trim sheet metal.
Read work orders to determine programming requirements.
Perform quality inspection to detect and prevent part defects.
Perform troubleshooting of equipment as needed.
Maintain compliance with Freedom Motors quality and safety standards, policies and procedures, and OSHA safety regulations and follow both written and verbal work instructions.
Assist other areas as needed.
What you’ll need
Coursework beyond High School Diploma preferred.
Previous experience with laser equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read blueprints and basic math skills.
Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, decision‑making abilities and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times.
Outstanding attendance record and reliability.
