Overview
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Laser Engraving Operator to run and maintain computerized laser systems used to engrave microscopic cell structures into ceramic-coated anilox rolls. This is a critical final step in the production process before products ship to customers. Safety, precision, and efficiency are top priorities.
While professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required. Hours: Mon-Thur 4:15pm - 2:45am Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate laser engraving equipmentUse dial indicators and precision tools to ensure alignment and qualityPolish and inspect rolls to meet exact specificationsLoad/unload rolls using overhead crane or manuallyMaintain accurate computer input and job trackingKeep work area clean and follow all safety proceduresAssist with engraving setups, inspections, and changeoutsReport maintenance or quality issues promptlyWork overtime as required High school diploma or equivalent Strong computer and math skills Experience with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators) Ability to read blueprints and perform volumetric calculations (preferred) Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Safety-focused with strong attention to detail
