Responsibilities
Assist with day‑to‑day functions of the audiovisual office following company policies.
Accountable for set‑up, operation, and strike of all audiovisual sets.
Ensure maximum client service, operational efficiency, and profitability.
Provide outstanding customer service.
Timely and accurate set‑up and strike of equipment for client functions according to company guidelines.
Continually increase audiovisual skills and knowledge.
Maintain and cultivate positive public relations with hotel accounts.
Maintain positive employee relations, strong team‑player orientation, and communication standards.
Effectively utilize the company's business software.
Maintain a high level of professional appearance, demeanor, ethics, and image of self.
Planning skills – ability to plan ahead.
Organizational skill – ability to manage multiple projects.
Problem analysis – ability to break down problems and find solutions.Other related duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum of one year’s experience in the AV industry.
Advanced knowledge and experience with AV set‑ups and strikes.
Background customer service or hospitality experience required.
Certification in AV technology or related courses (preferred).
Knowledge of audio equipment (microphones, speakers, sound systems, channel mixers, etc.).
Knowledge of video equipment (LCD, LED, projectors, screens, monitors, etc.).
Knowledge of lighting equipment (GOBO, gels, uplighting, basic lighting kits, stage lighting, etc.).
Advanced knowledge of PC and Mac software.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work long hours on your feet.
Ability to regularly lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work a varied schedule.
Authorized to work in the United States.
