Job Description We are seeking a detail‑oriented and organized Portables Technician to join our team in Tucker, GA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the production and inventory of work in the portables program and will work closely with the exhibit team to ensure that all materials are stored safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Perform inbound shipments and outbound duties on all jobs related to the Portable Department; work closely with warehouse personnel during the process.
Perform regular inventory reviews with appropriate team members.
Effectively communicate and take direction from Exhibit Properties Manager to execute tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain daily operations of the department.
Assemble and dismantle high‑quality portables for a wide array of dynamic industry leading clients.
Perform additional responsibilities and projects assigned by the Account Managers and Project Managers.
Create accurate packing lists to be included in all shipments.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling exhibit materials.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Microsoft Office proficiency.
Comfortable using basic hand tools and ladders.
High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality required.
Prior experience working in a warehouse or exhibit environment preferred.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 75 lbs.
Strong organizational skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair techniques.
Trade show experience preferred but not required.
Requires availability to work overtime as necessary during peak production periods.
