AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on.
Responsibilities Key responsibilities include:
Engage in physical data center activities such as planning and tracking capacity, rack deployment, rack cabling, hardware and software troubleshooting, and rack decommissioning.
Lifting and moving material up to 49 pounds each.
Working in cramped and/or elevated locations; bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching.
Standing and walking for up to 8+ hours a day.
Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, and gangways safely without limitation.
Working in a noisy environment.
Shift work longer than 8 hours to support 24/7 operations, covering night, day, weekends, and holidays.
Day in the Life
Take ownership of technical issues brought by customers, engaging other teams when needed to drive resolution.
Show strong aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving.
Resolve root causes and understand broader context.
Maintain SLAs through proactive issue detection and reporting.
Act in absence of direction or support.
Improve effectiveness through process innovation.

Basic Qualifications
High school or equivalent diploma, or A+, CND, Network+ or Security+.
Active U.S. Government Security Clearance TS/SCI with Polygraph.
US citizenship.
Clear any required background checks.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands‑on experience with Dell, HP, or other hardware platforms.
Networking experience with CCNA and/or Network+ certifications.
Previous experience working in a Data Center environment (racking & stacking gear, cable management, hot & cold aisle containment).
Associate’s degree in IT‑related field plus two years of progressively responsible experience.

Compensation The base pay for this position ranges from $62,500 per year in our lowest geographic market up to $139,700 per year in our highest geographic market, depending on market location and relevant experience. Additional compensation may include equity, sign‑on payments, and other benefits.
