Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date ledgers and cost ledgers.
Prepare and update settlement statements in coordination with attorneys.
Effectively communicate with attorneys regarding settlement purposes and financial details.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Utilize QuickBooks for bookkeeping and financial record‑keeping.
Use Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook for reporting and communication.
Ensure all financial records are organized, accurate, and meet deadlines.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and client information.
Multi‑task efficiently while maintaining a professional attitude and excellent customer service.
Qualifications
Minimum 3–5 years of bookkeeping experience.
Associate’s degree preferred but not required.
Strong proficiency with QuickBooks.
Experience with cost ledgers and accounts payable/receivable.
Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
