Duties
Provide quality care to children in a daycare setting
Create and implement age‑appropriate educational activities
Foster a safe and supportive learning environment
Monitor and supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities
Collaborate with other teachers to plan and coordinate daily routines
Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress
Requirements
1 year of previous experience in childcare or daycare settings
Knowledge of early childhood education principles
Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Certification in Early Childhood Education is a plus
Experience working with infants, toddlers, preschool, and school‑age children is preferred
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
CPR and First Aid certification
Childcare training
Virginia Health and Safety for Childcare staff 10‑hr training
At least 1 year of lead teacher experience
Nice To Haves
CDA certification
CPR and First Aid certification
Childcare training
Virginia Health and Safety for Childcare staff 10‑hr training
At least 1 year of lead teacher experience
Senior Level Entry level
