Overview
The Bureau of Public Health Clinics‑Sexually Transmitted Infections improves the sexual health of all New Yorkers by providing direct clinic services, monitoring disease trends, and conducting research and policy development. The Bureau operates eight Sexual Health clinics throughout New York City.
Duties
Prepare letters for clinicians to be delivered to patients who need to be outreached to return to the clinic for additional service or treatment.
Prepare triage/intake cards for the next day to ensure that members of the public needing our sexual health services receive timely services.
Assist with reviewing charts for errors by helping in QA and QI processes to limit errors and ensure the quality of data collected and entered into our EMR is accurate.
Train employees, observe, and report progress to the clinic manager.
File patient charts daily under the current day.

Minimum Qualifications
High school graduation or equivalent and three years of experience in community work or community‑centered activities in an area related to duties described above; or
Education and/or experience which is equivalent to the first qualification above.
