NOTE: A lump sum stipend will be provided to eligible candidates who relocate for this position.
Key Job Responsibilities
Perform server rack installations, hardware break‑fix, and troubleshoot network issues.
Respond to operational incidents impacting service availability, escalating to senior technicians and management as needed.
Serve as a primary contact for internal and external stakeholders, including engineers, software developers, vendors, and contractors.
Participate in on‑call duties, scheduled maintenance, and change management activities.
Contribute to documentation and process improvement initiatives based on operational issue analysis.
Help train and onboard new team members.
Physical Requirements
Lift and/or move up to 40 pounds (group lifts for 41+ pounds).
Work in cramped or elevated locations; lift, bend, stretch, and reach as needed.
Stand and walk up to 8+ hours a day; ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely.
Work in a noisy environment; shifts longer than 8 hours to support 24/7 operations.
Essential Requirements
Ability to travel to or commute between data center locations as needed.
Willingness to temporarily work at alternative sites during training or until the assigned facility becomes operational.
Travel frequency varies based on business needs and facility status.

Take ownership of technical issues brought by customers, engaging other teams when needed to drive resolution.
Solve problems at the root and understand the broader context.
Maintain service level agreements through proactive issue detection and reporting.

Basic Qualifications
High school or equivalent diploma.
Ability to work on a flexible schedule, including days, nights, and/or weekends.
1+ years of computer/server hardware troubleshooting or related IT experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system.
Experience working in a Data Center environment.
Associate’s degree, technical certification, or equivalent professional/military experience in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, networking engineering).
Understanding of network design, protocols, and layer 1/2 troubleshooting.
