Customer Service Representative Location: 604 E Jasper St, 1354 Iowa St, Columbia, OR 97006

Job Summary You will work the busy hours of the day and night, preparing, baking, and delivering pizzas while handling orders over the phone and in person. This role offers flexible part‑ or full‑time schedules, suitable for students, those seeking a second job, or anyone looking for a fast‑paced, supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Operate all kitchen equipment.

Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.

Prepare products and assemble orders.

Receive and process telephone orders.

Take inventory and complete related paperwork.

Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

Comprehend and give correct written instructions.

Communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders over the phone and in person.

Execute quick math, provide accurate monetary change, and enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Adhere to safety and work‑condition standards such as temperature variation, exposure to food odor and dust, and handling hot surfaces or sharp edges.

Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 50 lb, carrying up to 30 lb, pushing and pulling heavy trays, and frequent reaching, bending, and stooping.

Qualifications

Must be 16 years of age or older.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.

Basic math skills and accuracy with handling money and orders.

Physical ability to meet the requirements listed in the Physical Requirements section.

Physical Requirements

Standing: most tasks performed from a standing position.

Walking: for short distances and for short durations.

Sitting: occasional paperwork completed at a desk or table.

Lifting: load deliveries up to 50 lb, lift and stack cases up to 72 in. high.

Carrying: large cans (≈3 lb), pizza sauce (≈30 lb), trays of dough (~12 lb each).

Pushing: move trays on dollies that may weigh 7.5 lb. Pulling is also required.

Climbing: infrequent navigation of stairs or ladders.

Stooping/Bending: forward bending at the pizza assembly station, repeated continuously.

Crouching/Squatting: performed occasionally to stock shelves or clean low areas.

Reaching: continuous up, down and forward reaches; occasionally above 72 in.

Hand Tasks: continuous use of hands; skill with pizza peel, rolling cutter, pizza cutter, and cardboard boxes.

Machine/Tool Use: equipment such as computers, telephones, calculators, pizza cutter, peel, rolling cutter, and TDD equipment.

Training and Advancement Orientation and on‑the‑job training are provided. Many team members advance from customer service representatives to franchise ownership or management positions.
