General Job Duties for All Store Team Members
Operate all equipment
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler
Prepare product
Receive and process telephone orders
Take inventory and complete associate paperwork
Clean equipment and facility daily
Training
Orientation and on‑the‑job training provided.
Communication Skills
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
Essential Functions/Skills
Perform accurate addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division (calculator may be used)
Make correct monetary change
Use verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders
Coordinate motor movements between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid, precise work
Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
WORK CONDITIONS
Exposure to varying weather when removing trash; in‑store temperatures range from 36 to 90+ degrees.
Fumes from food and cornmeal dust are present.
Work includes cramped spaces such as walk‑in coolers and hot surfaces up to 500 °F.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Standing—most tasks performed while standing; short distances walked on ceramic tile or linoleum
Sitting—paperwork completed at a desk or table
Lifting—bulk product deliveries up to 50 lb; lift cases from floor to shelves up to 72 in
Carrying—large cans (≈3 lb 7 oz), pizza sauce (≈30 lb), trays of dough (≈12 lb per tray) over short distances
Pushing—trays on dollies (24–30 in) requiring up to 7.5 lb of force; trays may also be pulled
Climbing—navigate stairs or ladders to change prices, wash walls, or perform maintenance
Stoop/Bend—forward bending at the waist at the pizza assembly station; repetitive bending for 30–45 s continuously during the day
Crouching/Squatting—occasionally to stock shelves or clean low areas
Reaching—continuously up, down, and forward; reach above 72 in to control ovens or change signs; reach down to scoop cornmeal or wash dishes
Hand tasks—eye‑hand coordination essential; frequent use of forearms and wrists for shaping dough, manipulating pizza peel, and assembling boxes; ability to grasp cans, phones, pizza cutters, and boxes
Use of machines, tools, equipment—pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, pizza cutters, peelers, and rolling cutters
