MRO Production System Support Specialist
to help drive our continued success!
Purpose of the role MHIRJ’s network of service centers, support offices and parts depots are positioned in important aviation hubs in the U.S. The MRO Production System Support Specialist is responsible for the comprehensive master data management and user system support within the EmpowerMX (EMX) system to ensure data accuracy, regulatory compliance, and system integrity with the end goal of supporting the MHIRJ Service Center Network. The specialist also supports end users by developing tools and queries to extract, report, and analyze data for operational decision-making, and serves as the point of contact for initial end-user support, training, and issue documentation. This role is critical to maintaining the integrity of EMX data and supporting business operations through accurate configuration and governance.
Daily responsibilities
Manage, audit and support system master data to maintain accurate associations and ERP synchronization
Supporting asset and service request projects by ensuring accurate data creation and association
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to facilitate approvals and implement master data changes
Liaise with IT or ERP vendors to support system enhancements
Support end user issues resolution, documentation and ticket creation.
Provide training in end users system processes, new release functions and best practices
Assist in system upgrades, testing, and process improvement projects
Perform regular audits and data quality checks to identify and resolve discrepancies or duplicates
Develop user-friendly tools, queries, and templates to help users extract and interpret data from the ERP system
Other duties as assigned.
Required qualifications
Associate’s degree in Information Systems, Aviation Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field
Strong knowledge of MRO processes, including maintenance planning, materials, and labor tracking
Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data extraction
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support and train non-technical users
Additional Desired Qualifications
3+ years of experience in ERP or Production systems administration, preferably within the aviation MRO sector
Experience with configuration management or task card data in MRO systems
Understanding of EASA/FAA maintenance data documentation and compliance requirements
Familiarity with data governance frameworks or master data management (MDM) principles
Experience with change control processes and data migration projects
