The maintenance technician will primarily ensure the reliable operation of the conveyor system. This role will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair the operation of conveyor system and all other mechanical items on the property.
Pay: $24.50 - $33.63. We are offering a $3,000 sign‑on bonus.
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 2 PM – 12:30 AM.
Job Responsibilities
Identify equipment issues and coordinate and perform necessary maintenance.
Apply knowledge of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems to maintain and repair a variety of distribution and facilities equipment—including, but not limited to, conveyor systems, AS/RS systems, cranes, variable‑frequency drives, gearboxes, and belts.
Maintain electrical systems by completing preventive maintenance on conveyors, programmable controllers, transformers, and machinery wiring; following electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.
Diagnose malfunctioning electrical and mechanical systems such as transformers, motors, light fixtures, and faulty wiring. Inspect and test malfunctioning machinery.
Perform routine maintenance using hand and power tools, electric meters, and materials‑handling equipment.
Coordinate and/or perform general building maintenance—plumbing, painting, lighting—to keep buildings in working order.
Set specifications for new equipment and install new machines and equipment by wiring and conduit work.
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
3–5 years of experience in building maintenance.
Comfortable working in high or precarious places.
Comfortable working in extreme heat and around moving mechanical parts.
Results‑oriented professional with diplomacy, discretion, and customer‑service skills.
Ability to multi‑task, work independently or in a team, pay attention to detail, and meet deadlines.
Sound judgement and problem‑solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Trade school, bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent training and work experience.
Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician certification.
Physical Requirements
Stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone.
Work up to 25 feet in the air on a scissor lift.
Work in extreme heat.
