Make Ready Technician Location:

San Antonio, TX

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. (occasional weekends as needed)

About The Role

The ARC is seeking a skilled

Make Ready Technician

to prepare and maintain residential units, ensuring they are safe, clean, and move-in ready. This position is perfect for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, values teamwork, and enjoys a hands-on role with a variety of maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

Complete all make-ready and vacant unit tasks on schedule.

Rekey and replace locks as needed.

Perform general plumbing repairs (toilets, faucets, garbage disposals) and basic electrical work (switches, ceiling fans, outlets).

Service appliances, flooring, window treatments, and finishes.

Replace light bulbs and lighting components inside and outside the property.

Complete maintenance service requests and work orders following company procedures.

Conduct inspections to ensure units meet safety and appearance standards.

Clean up work areas thoroughly after each job.

Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.

Follow all company safety and OSHA standards.

Attend required meetings and training sessions.

Maintain professional appearance and wear company uniform while on duty.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (property maintenance, construction, or make-ready work).

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.

Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Willing to work overtime or weekends as needed.
