Staff Nurse - LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)

We are seeking dedicated Staff Nurses with a LPN to join ourdiverse team in Geneva and be a part of our life-changing mission.
We have flexible full-time and part-time shifts available with anhourly rate of $28.25/hr - $34/hr based on qualifications andexperience. The position has additional differentials of $1 for PMweekdays, $2 for night weekdays, $5 for AM weekends, $6 for PMweekends and $7 for night weekends. Our PRN/IHR (On-Call) LPN rate is$29/hr with an additional $2 differential for weekends.

Who We Are:
Marklund is a nonprofit organization that provides residential,educational and therapy services to infants, children, teens andadults with serious and profound developmental disabilities andspecial healthcare needs. With two residential locations – theMarklund Hyde Center in Geneva and the Marklund Wasmond Center inElgin, it is currently home to nearly 178 residents. The Marklund DaySchool offers Multi-Needs and Life Skills programs for children andyoung adults with multiple medical needs, and those diagnosed on theautism spectrum. In addition, our Community Day Services program ateach site is a therapeutic day program for adults who reside atMarklund and those who come in from the community.

Administer medications, tube feedings and treatments as prescribed.
Prepare quarterly health assessments and annual assessments.
Inform the physician of changes in resident health status andimplements physicians order to assure optimal health care.
Complete daily charting for care provided.
as a liaison between residents,parents, physicians,consultants and case manager regarding resident status.

Experience and Skills Staff Nurse, LPN, Qualifications:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), current on the Illinois HealthCare Worker Registry
Possess current BLS CPR certification for Healthcare Workers
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job and tomeet its functional and environmental requirements
