The Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator will play a key role in managing material flow for the Siemens Smart Infrastructure SKID Assembly Workshop (SieSAW) Facility.
Job Details
Location: Knightdale, NC (training at Wendell, NC for first month)
Shift Hours: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
Hourly Rate: $22.46
Responsibilities
Oversee receiving, put-away, picking, delivery, shipping, and inventory management.
Use SAP for transfers, confirmations, inventory transactions, and close-out orders in SIEOPS; coordinate material needs with planners, buyers, schedulers, and managers.
Count and verify incoming material, determine line stock needs, request picks, and provide pick lists to appropriate personnel.
Pull and kit material as needed and resolve material flow issues raised by production through root cause analysis.
Adhere to safety rules and established processes, perform duties with urgency, and continually seek process improvements.
Work independently and as a strong team player, maintain attention to detail under deadlines, and communicate effectively with others while accepting criticism.
Train others on departmental processes and perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
2+ years’ experience in material management, preferably in warehousing.
Experience with SAP and Microsoft Suite applications.
Ability to understand the production schedule for the assigned line.
Must be able to lift parts or sub-assemblies that weigh up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of INCO Terms with experience in Domestic & International Shipping.
1+ years’ experience driving a forklift.
Experience with warehouse operations and carrier communication/coordination.
Experience in SIEOPS working closely with Project Management.
Ability to lead highly proficient teams in a corporate setting.
Ability to adapt to constant change and implement new processes.
