Job Title:
Warehouse Associate
Location:
Greenville, SC (Onsite)
Position Summary:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for executing daily warehousing operations, including receiving, handling, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. The role ensures all warehouse activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and safely while maintaining proper inventory records in the ERP system (SxE). This position is based onsite at a customer location and involves direct responsibility for daily receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting of inventory. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, safety‑minded, and capable of working both independently and within a team.
Key Responsibilities
Process and load incoming/outgoing shipments according to schedules, work orders, or requisitions.
Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming materials for accuracy and damage.
Store goods systematically in racks, shelves, or bins for optimal space use.
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery using pick sheets (paper or electronic).
Operate warehouse equipment safely – forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and cherry pickers.
Load and secure materials for shipment, ensuring compliance with safety and shipping standards.
Perform routine cycle counts and assist with inventory management.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
Enter and maintain accurate stock data in ERP systems (SxE or equivalent).
Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience:
1+ year in warehouse, storeroom, or material handling (preferred, will train).
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Technical Skills:
Basic computer literacy; ability to learn ERP systems (SxE, Vista, Prophet 21).
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work orders, and procedures.
Math Skills:
Basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide, calculate ratios and percentages).
Physical Requirements:
Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Comfortable working in a warehouse environment (heated in winter, not air‑conditioned in summer).
Other Requirements:
Steel‑toe shoes required.
Safety‑conscious and detail‑oriented.
