Position Summary A Shift Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty to CVS/pharmacy through a focus on excellent customer service. When there is no manager or Operations Supervisor onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures that store operations run smoothly, and is responsible for ensuring the completion of all opening and closing procedures.
Essential Functions
Management – work effectively with store management and store crews; supervise crew through assigning, directing and following up of all store activities.
Effective communication – communicate information both to and from store management and crews.
Customer Service – assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints; promote CVS customer service culture (greet, offer help, thank); handle all customer relations issues in accordance with company policy; promote a positive shopping experience.
Maintain customer/patient confidentiality.
Merchandise/Presentation – price merchandise; stock shelves; execute displays, signage, and inventory of weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise; execute display and maintenance of off-shelf merchandise; reset departments following POGs.
Required Qualifications
Deductive reasoning, analytical, and computer skills.
Advanced communication and supervision skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, weekend shifts, overtime, and respond to urgent store issues.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a retail supervisor.
Education High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Employment Details
Anticipated Weekly Hours: 20
Time Type: Part time
Pay Range: $16.50 - $24.00 (base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary based on experience, education, geography, etc.)
