Position Description Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Stand‑Up Forklift Operator in Minster, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits
Base pay: $23.00 per hour 50¢ increase after 6 months and 1 year
Overtime pay: $34.50 per hour
Shift differentials up to $4.00/hr on nights
Productivity incentives: up to an extra $10/hr
Monthly attendance bonuses
Sign‑on bonus: $1,000 paid in four installments at 30, 60, 90, and 180 days

Night shift options:
C: Sun‑Wed 4:30 pm – 4:00 am
C: Sun‑Wed 5:30 pm – 5:00 am
D: Wed‑Sat 4:30 pm – 4:00 am
D: Wed‑Sat 5:30 pm – 5:00 am
44‑55 hours per week
11‑hour shift
Two‑month schedule provided in advance for family planning
Responsibilities
Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
Accurately pick, pack, audit, and stage products; load and unload trucks.
Handle day‑to‑day paperwork in the warehouse (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hours.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum one year of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
Valid Forklift Operator’s License certified.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Can work independently and as part of a team.
Team player able to thrive in a diverse work environment.
Thorough, dependable, and punctual with a good attendance record.
Highly accurate, even under pressure.
Can lift or push/pull up to 35 lbs.
Can stand for long periods of time.
Adheres to health and safety methods.
Available to work a flexible schedule on various shifts.
Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
