Job Description
The Bucket Operator’s primary responsibility is to assist with the clearing and removal of trees along electrical power lines and right‑of‑ways. The operator works an aerial lift device (bucket truck) to reach interfering branches, operates chain saws, pruners, brush chipper, and may be called upon to climb trees using climbing equipment. Responsibilities
Assist with tree clearing and removal along power lines and right‑of‑ways. Operate a bucket truck aerial lift device to access trees and branches. Operate chain saws, pruners, and brush chipper as needed. Climb trees using climbing equipment when required. Perform trimming out of a bucket and/or operate a bucket in utility line clearance or residential tree clearance settings. Provide emergency storm duty coverage as required. Qualifications
Minimum of 6 months verifiable experience trimming out of a bucket and/or running a bucket in a utility line clearance or residential tree clearance setting. CDL license or valid driver license preferred. Pesticide license beneficial, but not mandatory. Work Schedule
4–10 hour days; Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday with mandatory overtime periods. Employees must also work emergency storm duty as needed. Pay
Rate of pay varies depending on skills and experience. Work Area
Travel required throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio, Virginia, and West Virginia. Candidates must be flexible to travel on short notice based on contract demands. Benefits
