Phlebotomist I – TalentBurst (Inc 5000 Company) Title Phlebotomist I Hours FVE – Venice PSC Monday – Friday – 6:00am – 2:30pm (FVE is not open on Saturday) Saturday – 7:00am – 12:00pm Duration 4+ months Location Venice, FL 34285 Responsibilities Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time. Maintain a safe and professional environment. Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures. Maintain required records and documentation. Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general. Job Requirements Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to work independently with minimal on‑site supervision. Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric. Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on‑call and overtime. Required Education High school diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED). Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington). Work Experience Minimum of 6 months experience (REQUIRED). One(+) years phlebotomy experience preferred. Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred. Keyboard/data entry experience is a must. Additional Job Details Candidate must have reliable transportation to get to/from worksite without issue (bus, Uber, rideshare is not reliable). Must be available to work whenever scheduled, BE ON TIME, and stay for the entire shift. Excessive absenteeism/tardiness is not tolerated and will be cause for termination. Please ensure that you are verifying the commute time to/from the physical work location when submitting candidates. Candidates need to be within a 20‑25 minute commute window to ensure their ability to travel to/from the site for coverage.
