Job Summary Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute seeks highly motivated individuals for the Postdoctoral Fellow position. The role involves studying the effects of recent policies on mental and substance use disorder treatments. Experience in mental health and substance use research is preferred but not essential. Key Responsibilities Analyze large, complex data from sources such as survey, claims, and administrative data. Present analysis results effectively to technical and non-technical audiences. Prepare publications, reports, and presentations. Participate in team meetings to influence research directions. Develop new research ideas or assist in proposal writing. Engage in innovative thinking, collaboration, and daily impact. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Doctoral degree (MD, PhD) in Health Services Research, Public Policy, Economics, Sociology, or related field. Strong quantitative analytical skills and experience with large data analysis. Proficiency in at least one programming language. First author publication preferred. Specialization in health disparities, health insurance, or health policy is a plus. Excellent communication skills. Resilient, collaborative, flexible, innovative.
