Sales Floor Dept Supervisor – Hardware‑Tools Apply for the Sales Floor Dept Supervisor – Hardware‑Tools role at Lowe’s Companies, Inc. to work in Mount Vernon, WA. What You Will Do Provide resources and tools that support associates delivering the best service to customers. Assist with down‑stoking, area recovery, and merchandising decisions. Monitor use of store power equipment, coaching employees on safe behaviors and lifting techniques. Coach and train associates, delegate daily tasks, manage performance, and ensure adequate department coverage. Handle customer‑facing activities such as greeting customers, clarifying needs, identifying solutions and closing sales. Execute non‑customer‑facing tasks including down‑stoking, inventory management, area recovery, safety walks, hazard reporting. Supervise associates in other departments as needed, occasionally open/close the store or act as manager‑on‑duty (MOD). Travel occasionally for meetings, training or to support neighboring stores/outlets. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of retail experience, or 5 years of retail experience. 1 year of customer service experience. 1 year of experience supporting the unique needs of Pro customers (for Pro Department Supervisor). Experience providing direction or supervision to teams. Experience in training, mentoring and developing associates. Experience working cross‑functionally. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to obtain sales‑related licensure or registration as required by law. Preferred Qualifications 3 years of retail customer service experience. 3 years supporting the unique needs of Pro customers. Leadership experience with direct report responsibility. Experience in the home improvement retail sector. Experience in a fast‑paced, dynamic retail environment. Experience in a key carrying role with manager‑on‑duty responsibilities. Experience using store computer systems (e.g., Project Tool, Genesis, Sterling, M2O, Thin Client). Pay Range Pay Range: $26.50 – $27.55 per hour.
