Hardware Designer - PCB (Grand Rapids, MI) We are looking for a talented Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Designer to join our growing Engineering Solutions team. The PCB Designer provides expertise in printed circuit board (PCB) design to support product development and manufacturing.

Job Duties
Design PCBs for a high-volume automotive technology company.
Utilize design analysis tools to aid in circuit design and ensure products meet quality standards.
Support cross-functional design reviews with PCB design expertise.
Provide PCB design mentoring and training to colleagues.
Maintain knowledge of supplier capabilities, processes, and best practices to ensure high-quality development and manufacturing.
Apply automotive EMC and quality standards to PCB design from concept through production.
Stay current with technology, manufacturing, and industry trends to improve products, processes, and methods.
Job Requirements
10+ years of professional experience designing PCBs.
Proficient with Mentor Graphics Xpedition toolchain for PCB layout.
Experience with PCBs ranging from 2 to 12 layers.
Ability to develop high-density interconnect (HDI) PCBs of up to 12 layers.
Minimum two-year technical degree or equivalent experience.
Experience in automotive new product development.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
